Head Controls and Sensing Technologies (m/f/d)

MAIN TASKS

  • Construction/Agriculture machinery controls

    • Lead a team of innovative engineers in controls

    • Control application software development (for ECU and/or PLC)

    • Designing and implementing software and hardware interfaces (e.g. communication protocols, gateway solutions for mobile machinery)

    • Testing environment for MiL and HiL testing procedures

    • Calibration and diagnosis of PLC/ECU based control systems

    • Writing technical reports

  • Commercialization of research results

    • Feasibility analysis

    • Market and cost analysis

  • Organizing technical meetings and reporting technical results

profile

  • Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, or similar engineering areas.

  • Master or Ph.D./Dr.-Ing. Degree (preferred)

  • Solid control theory, control system knowledge

  • Affiliation to software- & hardware-based problem solving

  • Real-time control analysis and design capability

  • Ability to design a variety of digital signal processing algorithms

  • Skillful in using Matlab / Simulink and AMESim for control systems development

  • Familiar with CAN (preferable also other communication protocols, e.g., J1939, ISOBUS, Ethernet)

  • Familiar with the control methods of hydraulic components and hydraulic systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Pioneering thinking and innovational mindset

  • Fluent in English (in addition German preferrable) 

  • More than 5 years of related experience
