Director of Sales EMEA (m/f/d)

As the Director of Sales EMEA you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and service strategy to achieve increased order intake, enhance market share, and achieve defined gross profit targets within the EMEA market. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, aligning strategies with sales initiatives, and reporting to the Managing Director EMEA. This role also includes a focus on driving service sales and sales enablement efforts for both the sales staff and dealers.

  • Co-design Sales & Service Strategy with company brand leader to achieve timely order intake, market share, and gross profit growth targets.

  • Lead Sales team providing them a clear Sales & Service strategy and drive execution

  • Install a periodic Cadence of Execution processes (meetings, reviews, Leading KPIs) with the sales team.   

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team throughout the EMEA region, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Establish and optimize tools and processes for efficient sales operations.

  • Initiate change and drive growth initiatives to capture new market opportunities and improve sales performance.

  • Develop and run sales enablement and support activities for salesforce and dealer network.

  • Drive sales campaigns and lead management initiatives.

  • Develop and implement sales analytics and planning to optimize performance.

  • Setting targets and objectives for the sales organization, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.

  • Support the expansion of the company distribution footprint through collaboration with central dealer development initiatives.

  • Key interfaces: Dealer Development, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Service & Business Operations.

required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or economics; Alternatively, Engineering with Business Management.

  • Experience in leadership roles within sales and marketing, with a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels

  • Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics and distribution networks.

  • High proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Please note: In this position you will be required to speak English fluently as the network partners are located across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

  • Preferred strong experience in the forklift or related industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the market or in the Machinery B2B industry.

  • Willingness to travel, including within the EMEA region and occasionally internationally.

  • A structured and analytical way of working with a track record of strategic planning and execution.

  • Exceptional people skills, including a high level of empathy and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

  • Intercultural skills to effectively work within the diverse EMEA region.

  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to drive sales and achieve targets.
