To further ensure rapid growth, our client is fully committed to talent development and technological innovation. For this reason, we are looking for a Senior Electronic Control Software Engineer to lead the team to carry out product development of electronic control modules for large harvesting machinery for the newly emerging Innovation Center in Baden-Württemberg. Up to approx. 50 engineers from the areas of combines, tractors, implements, hydraulics, electronic control, intelligent solutions and production will creatively work together for a better tomorrow.

MAIN TaskS

  • Lead the team to carry out product development of electronic control modules to meet the needs of customers for products.

  • Responsible for the technical research, pre-development and development planning for the electronic control module.

  • Responsible for the technical planning and modular architecture of the electronic control system.

  • Responsible for the product development, design scheme, standard formulation, product improvement and key technology research.

  • Responsible for the coordination and resolution of problems during project development and prototype production.

  • Responsible for the coordination and resolution of problems during bench tests and field tests of electronic control module.

  • Participate in benchmarking and competitor module research.

  • Manage the continuous product improvement.

  • Responsible for the team's talent development.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree or above with mechanical engineering background.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the research and development of electronic control modules with at least 2 years project management experience.

  • Familiar with methods and tools of the electronic control development process as well as the ability of process design, optimization and continuous improvement.

  • Good programming habits.

  • Proficient in control algorithms such as PID, fuzzy control, adaptive control, etc.

  • Proficient in the use of test tools (MQTest, SimulinkTest, etc.) and calibration tools (INCA, CANape, etc.).

  • Understanding of the working principle and control requirements of agricultural machinery, working experience in agricultural background is preferred

  • Excellent cross-culture communication and team management skills

  • Fluent in English
