As a development partner and supplier of well-known manufacturers of mobile machinery, such as construction, mining, agricultural, forestry and municipal machinery, the product range includes all components from hydraulic pumps, motors and valves, to electronic controls and peripherals. Sales Manager (Business Development) (m/f/d)
Main tasks

Formulates and executes account strategies in line with overall Sales strategy.

Takes full responsibility for assigned target accounts to achieve full potential for incremental growth, revenue and gross margin as well as other directly related performance KPIs.

Identifies customers’ needs and tailors companies offering to unlock competitive advantages for the group, creating sustainable customer relationships and generating Sales.

Is single point of management for all topics regarding the approach, qualification, presentation at the potential account.

Identifies new sales and margin opportunities at assigned accounts and strives towards realization of those with targeted yearly and monthly action plans.

Develops tailored concepts for assigned accounts across product ranges, closely aligned with other business functions (customer service, product management, production, R&D, application engineering, Service & Parts, etc.).

Tracks implementation of targets and initiatives on a monthly basis and sets off corrective actions whenever necessary.

Collects, analyses and maintains sales potential and relevant customer information, competitor prices / product information, or supports this process

Conducts market research jointly with global accounts and external partners, if applicable
profile

Bachelor in (Industrial) Engineering or business, University TU or University of applied science (FH).

Minimum of 4 years professional experience (with 6 months of international experience) with a strong technical background, excellent understanding of hydraulic systems and components, excellent understanding of customer value in key applications in target industries (agriculture & forestry, construction, material handling, …).

Understanding of total cost of ownership for customers.

Excellent business acumen, task and practice-orientation, structured and focused approach, excellent communication skills, high-degree of self motivation.

Fluent in german and in english (additional language is an asset).
