For this reason, we are looking for an expert in Homologation / Type Approval for the tractors department of the newly emerging European Innovation Center in Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Up to approx. 50 engineers from the areas of combines, tractors, implements, hydraulics, electronic control, intelligent solutions and production will creatively work together for a better tomorrow.
main tasks

Ensure full vehicle Line-up compliance to EU regulations and directives.

Manage the complete type approval cycle, from initial documentation to certification and final approval.

Actively participate in key EU institutes and associations (VDMA, TÜV, KBA, etc.) to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new regulations, standards, and industry trends.

Provide guidance to engineering teams on regulatory requirements and homologation processes.

Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities to ensure smooth approval procedures.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation required for homologation and certification.

Monitor upcoming regulatory changes and assess their impact on product development.

Support innovation projects (e.g., smart farming, electrification, hybridization, automation) by ensuring regulatory compliance from the early design phase.

Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in homologation, type approval, or regulatory compliance within working / agricultural machinery or related industry, tractor industry preferred.

Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks and homologation processes.

Experience in managing certification cycles and working with authorities such as TÜV, KBA, or similar.

Familiarity with international standards relevant to agricultural machinery.

Proficiency in technical documentation and regulatory reporting.
