Track Undercarriage Technical Expert (m/f/d)
based in Germany to join the R&D team.
main tasks

Lead research and development of advanced track undercarriage components, focusing on operating‑condition analysis, durability optimization, and performance enhancement in mining and heavy‑duty applications.

Benchmark competitor undercarriage systems, conduct technical evaluations, and drive continuous reliability improvements.

Perform detailed failure analysis of field applications, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive measures.

Research and apply cutting‑edge technologies to extend the service life of undercarriage components in harsh operating environments.

Monitor global technology trends and innovation pathways in the undercarriage and heavy‑machinery sector.

Analyze operating conditions in major mining regions and assess market performance and technical requirements.

Provide expert guidance for product development, including sealing, lubrication, structural design, and application‑specific adaptations.

Support manufacturing teams by evaluating production processes and recommending improvements to enhance quality and consistency.
PRofile

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in R&D and process engineering for track undercarriage components.

Proven experience in market research related to mining operating conditions and their impact on undercarriage performance.

Deep technical understanding of materials, structural design, sealing systems, lubrication concepts, and performance characteristics of undercarriage components.

Strong ability to analyze and resolve field application issues across diverse operating conditions.

Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes for undercarriage components and experience in identifying and improving quality‑related issues.

Up‑to‑date awareness of industry‑leading technologies, standards, and innovations in heavy‑machinery component engineering.
