For this reason, we are looking for an expert in Virtual Validation for the tractors department of the newly emerging European Innovation Center in Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Up to approx. 50 engineers from the areas of combines, tractors, implements, hydraulics, electronic control, intelligent solutions and production will creatively work together for a better tomorrow.
main tasks

Generate standard Excel Calculation Data Sheets related to complete vehicle and Subsystems for performance and endurance evaluation (duty cycles and lifetime prediction).

Define KPIs relative values and acceptance criteria for systems validation.

Perform advanced computational calculations for vehicle dynamics, drivability, NVH, life time prediction.

Support Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) activities and integrate results into overall validation strategy.

Maintain close interaction loops with vehicle and systems engineers to ensure robust integration and early issue resolution.

Develop and execute virtual validation strategies for complete tractor systems and subsystems.

Build and maintain simulation models (structural, dynamic, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic, and E/E systems) to predict performance and integration behavior.

Perform multi-domain simulations (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, control systems) to ensure system compatibility and compliance with requirements and specifications.

Support design teams by providing early feedback through digital mocks-up and virtual testing.

Document validation processes and results, and present findings to management and global engineering stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methodologies, tools, and processes within the European Innovation Center.

Bachelor degree or above with mechanical engineering background, Agricultural Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in simulation, modeling, or virtual validation of complex working machinery or vehicles, tractor experience preferred.

Minimum 3 years Project Management experience.

Strong knowledge of tractor systems and subsystems (chassis, driveline, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics).

Proficiency in CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, Adams, AMESim, GT-Suite, or similar).

Experience with multi-body dynamics, finite element analysis (FEA), and system-level simulations.

Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD integration for digital mocks-up.

Understanding of international standards relevant to agricultural machinery.
